Happy Canada Day
It was on the first day of July that we became independent and a beautiful journey began… Cheers to our independence and our happily growing country!
This is one of the numerous wishes that sound every year on July 1st — the day when Canadians throughout the country and all over the world celebrate Canada Day.
The celebration of Birth of Canada is a national holiday marking the anniversary of Confederation in 1867, when the British North America Act came into effect. Originally known as Dominion Day, it was renamed in 1982.
Nowadays people participate in Parades in their cities and towns and many patriotic events are organized around the country. Some of the best Canada Day events are held in Ontario, Ottava, Quebec, Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, and in various overseas cities as well.
People put on red and white and decorate themselves with as many maple leaves as possible. They have a great opportunity to go outdoors this day – rafting, hiking, fishing, or just take a walk in the park.
We are wishing a beautiful and wonderful Happy Canada day to you and your families from the entire Acumen International team.
Have a glorious holiday!
