RUSSIAN GAZPROM ACKNOWLEDGED ITS DEPENDENCY ON TRANSIT THROUGH UKRAINE
Also, recently the Russian company Gazprom acknowledged the dependence on its gas transit through Ukraine. Board chairman Alexei Miller acknowledged that without Ukraine, Russia’s state monopoly will not be able to realize at full its obligations before the European consumers.
When it comes to (gas pipelines- Ed.) Yamal-Europe, North Stream and gas in the subway (underground gas storages – Ed.) in the European Union, which will be supplied – of course, 100% fully. But in case there will be problems with transit through the territory of Ukraine, these volumes can not compensate for these losses,
said Miller.
