A finance view

Every hire is a budget decision first

As a finance director I have seen too many cost-of-hire figures that answer one question and raise five. A number without its tax logic, statutory costs and country context is not a decision, it is the start of another spreadsheet.

That is why the Global Payroll Calculator does not stop at the total. Every result carries the calculation behind it and the expert notes that explain the local rules, so Finance, HR, Mobility and Talent are working from the same figure and can defend it.

The practical details

What clients ask us most

Practical answers on using the results for budgets, offers and proposals. For anything specific to a country or role, our payroll specialists can walk you through it.

How often is the data updated?

No. Work begins once authorisation is granted. Some destinations allow work to continue during a pending renewal or under specific short-term routes, and we confirm what applies before a start date is agreed..

Does it account for termination costs?

Holiday and 13th/14th salary accruals are included. Severance depends on tenure and the reason for exit, so our specialists model it on request.

How close is the estimate to the final employment cost?

It reflects the statutory cost for the salary and country you enter. The final figure can move with choices made at offer stage, such as pension elections, the employee’s work location and supplementary benefits, which our specialists confirm in your proposal.
